A gala event was held at the Astana Hub International Technology Park
A gala event was held at the Astana Hub International Technology Park to mark the anniversary of the Astana Venture Club, a community of business angels interested in investing in and supporting promising technology entrepreneurs.

Investors, business community leaders, venture capital and investment professionals, philanthropists, and representatives of Kazakhstan's IT community attended the event.
"Business angel investments allow startups to scale up faster and enter new markets. First of all, IT, fintech, and AI projects are attractive to investors. And here, not only investors and startup owners can make money, but also users of their products. Over the past year, we organized two streams of the School of Business Angels and trained about 100 people. The club's business angels made several transactions. There are about 40 active members of the club who finance startups." Nurasyl Jarbasov, founder and head of Astana Venture Club
As part of the event, a panel session was held on "Current trends and prospects for venture capital investment: the impact of AI and criteria for success." BGlobal Ventures CEO Abay Absamet moderated the session, which featured the following speakers: the Managing Director of Astana Hub, Tanat Uskembaev, the co-founder and managing partner of the international investment company Raison Andrey Berezin, and business angel Elzhan Kushekbaev.

The speakers discussed new trends in the IT field and the role and importance of venture funds in scaling startup projects. In turn, the Astana Venture Club announced strategic plans through a partnership with Astana Hub and BGlobal Ventures, whose joint efforts will provide access to international markets for Kazakh startups.
