SpaceX to Break Its Own Record, Anduril Sets Its Sights on Space

SpaceX has reached a record number of launches in 2024, conducting 96 orbital missions, which equals their previous record. Among these was the successful deployment of the Crew Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) to rescue astronauts who were stranded there. However, the next Falcon 9 launch has been postponed until an issue with the rocket's second stage—which deviated from its designated trajectory on the last mission—is resolved.

In addition to chips for people with disabilities, Neuralink is also developing an implant to restore vision called Blindsight. This experimental implant has received "breakthrough device" status from the U.S. FDA. "Blindsight will enable even those who have lost both eyes and the optic nerve to see," writes Elon Musk.

Anduril

Anduril Industries has announced a partnership with Apex for the accelerated development and delivery of space systems. Apex will provide its serial satellite platforms, which will be used by Anduril in missions for missile tracking, space observation, and other tasks. This collaboration will combine Apex's satellite platforms with Anduril's integration capabilities, opening new horizons for Anduril.

Starting October 31, 2024, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken will cease support for Monero in countries of the European Economic Area. The main reason for this decision is regulatory compliance related to legislation. Monero raises concerns among authorities due to its potential use for illegal activities. Kraken's decision underscores the exchange's commitment to transparency.
