SpaceX
NASA has selected SpaceX to provide launch services for NOAA’s JPSS-4 mission, part of the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) program. The price contract valued at approximately $112.7 million includes launch services and other mission-related costs. The JPSS-4 satellite, set to launch in 2027 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, is crucial for collecting global meteorologic, oceanographic, and solar-geophysical data. These observations support NOAA’s mission to monitor Earth’s environment and predict changes in weather, climate, and oceans. SpaceX’s involvement is key to the success of this mission.

Between April and June, Operation Spincaster generated 7,000 leads, helping to close accounts, seize funds, and build intelligence. The initiative underscores the importance of public-private collaboration, blockchain transparency, and advanced analytics in preventing crypto scams. Chainalysis plans to expand this operation to more countries in the coming months.
