What is a structured product
A structured product is a combination of securities, currencies and fixed-term instruments that the investment company has "packed" for the convenience of the investor.
Structured products usually have a basket of underlying assets. The underlying asset can be stocks, indices, currencies. The investor's yield and risk depends on the parameters of the product and dynamics of underlying assets.

What are you getting
Flexibility
The choice of instruments ranges from high-risk to conservative ones.
Structured products differ greatly depending on the underlying assets and internal parameters.
Access to professional market
Instruments which are usually only available to institutional investors could be used in a structured note giving an access to those instruments for the note holders.
Individual approach
Unlike bonds and stocks, structured notes can be individually created for a client's portfolio — his needs and goals.
Secondary market
The investor can at any time, if necessary, buy or sell the note ahead of the redemption date.

No taxes on coupons
Coupon payouts in structured notes are not taxed, compared to dividends or coupon payouts directly to brokerage account.

No management and success fees
Structured products are usually not affected by additional fees for management of the note and no carried interest is applied.
