Kraken

Kraken, one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges, is considering raising a final funding round before a possible IPO. According to one source, the exchange will likely seek to raise more than $100 million. This comes as cryptocurrencies are again at record highs, with companies and investors renewing their interest in the sector and resuming discussions about going public.

SpaceX

SpaceX's achievements are always impressive! First, the Axiom spacesuits: scientists have finally provided feedback on their ability to work with the Starship (spoiler: they work well!). Second, 20 satellites were sent into space during Falcon 9's first launch anniversary. Recently, Falcon 9 celebrated its 300th landing. By the way, SpaceX plans to build one Starship megarocket a day.

Neuralink

Noland Arbo, the first person with a Neuralink brain implant, has quadriplegia. He is a pioneer in the world of neurotechnology. There are some risks: for example, the brain shifts by 3 mm, not 1 mm as previously assumed, and some of the strands of the Link shifted. Scientists corrected everything through the software. Noland actively uses the Link for social media, education, and everyday tasks.

Anduril

Anduril has introduced XRST, a recent addition to the Sentry system. XRST will be used for counter-invasion missions at the border. It is equipped with a sensor head capable of classifying and tracking objects. The tower's height is only 24.4 meters, but it can cover a distance of up to 12 kilometers. The Sentry significantly reduces the need for human resources and the overall response time.

Chainalysis

Another victory for Chainalysis in its quest for financial security in the crypto field! Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice detained a Chinese citizen, Yunhe Wang, on charges of cybercrime. Wang ran the 911 S5 botnet, which harmed users around the world by contributing to data theft, fraud, and child exploitation. Chainalysis tools helped identify the botnet's wallet network, which led to Wang's arrest.

Drip Capital

The international fintech company Drip Capital Inc. received the "Best Use of Technology in Lending" award at the Banking Tech USA Awards 2023. The event, held in New York on June 1, selected 40 winners in various categories, including "Best Technical Upgrade—Back Office" and "Woman in Technology." Drip Capital was chosen from hundreds of leading names in the financial industry.

Scale AI

SCALE AI, a Canadian AI innovation cluster, has announced $96 million in funding to support 22 projects in life sciences, retail, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and agriculture projects. These initiatives will improve efficiency and security through AI. Also, Scale AI secured a $1 billion deal in a Series F funding round with a valuation of $13.8 billion.
