Raison Invests $2 Million in SpaceX

Forbes published an informative article on SpaceX based on an interview with Raison Group Co-Founder Andrew Berezin.

Raison has invested $2 million in SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk. "This investment reflects our strategic focus on supporting global high-tech and innovation leaders," Raison stated. "We see SpaceX as a cornerstone of the future space economy and a natural addition to our portfolio."

SpaceX has become a leader in space technology and commercial space launches. The company develops and manufactures launch vehicles and spacecraft, which have already been successfully used to deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS) and launch satellites into Earth orbit. The valuation of the SpaceX space company has reached $180 billion. This was reported by the American financial publication CNBC after the end of the last session of the secondary sale of shares. So, in five years, the company has grown by 445%.

One key factor contributing to SpaceX's attractiveness to investors is its ability to reduce the cost of space launches through the use of reusable rockets. This innovation opens up new opportunities for the commercialization of space and makes it more accessible for scientific and commercial missions.

«The last successful launch of Starship was a significant event for SpaceX. After three failed attempts, SpaceX conducted a successful test flight of the most powerful and heaviest rocket in history, the Starship. Demonstrating the reliability and effectiveness of the new reusable rocket has strengthened investor confidence. Increasing confidence in the successful implementation of SpaceX's ambitious plans, such as missions to Mars and the expansion of the Starlink satellite network, stimulates the growth of investment interest and can have a positive impact on the company's market value», said Andrew Berezin, managing partner of Raison Investment Company.

According to Elon Musk's latest comments, SpaceX plans a fifth Starship launch at the end of July 2024. The previous launch took place on June 6. If SpaceX implements its plans, less than two months will have passed between launches.

The fifth launch will be of particular importance, as during this mission, SpaceX will attempt to catch the first stage of the rocket for the first time using a giant Mechazilla arm.
