Infura, a leading provider of Web3 APIs and a part of Consensys, has partnered with 18 major companies, including Microsoft and Tencent Cloud. Announced at Devconnect in Istanbul, creating a Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN) marks a significant step. DIN, a decentralized RPC-as-a-service, will offer developers a reliable, scalable, and secure blockchain infrastructure. The initial features of DIN include fail-safe protection for Polygon and Ethereum networks, with Infura users expected to connect to DIN in the coming weeks.
Klarna
Klarna has partnered with Cathay Pacific Airways to expand its presence in the travel sector. Travelers from six European countries — the UK, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany — can now use Klarna to pay for their flights, splitting the cost into three interest-free payments. This partnership is part of Klarna's global strategy following a recent international collaboration with Airbnb, allowing users in seven countries to utilize the service worldwide. By early 2024, Klarna aims to extend its services to Airbnb users in several more countries across three continents.
SpaceX
SpaceX has announced several key developments:
- The acquisition of Pioneer Aerospace, a renowned manufacturer of components for Dragon spacecraft parachutes, strengthens SpaceX's supply chain and enhances the quality of its parachutes.
