Raison at Latitude59

Our participation in Northern Europe's leading tech conference

Raison at Latitude59

This year, Raison joined Latitude59 as an official partner — one of the leading startup and tech conferences in Northern Europe, held in Tallinn. The conference brought together 3,000+ participants from 70 countries, 600+ investors, and 140 speakers.

Held in Tallinn, Latitude59 brought together founders, investors, venture funds, fintech companies, and ecosystem leaders from across Europe, Central Asia, and the global tech community. For Raison, the event became an important platform for strengthening international connections, discussing the future of private markets and wealth infrastructure, and engaging with founders and investors shaping the next generation of technology companies.

As a global investment platform operating across private markets, wealth management, and digital assets, Raison continues to expand its presence within the international venture and fintech ecosystem. The company currently operates across multiple jurisdictions and provides investors with access to private and public market opportunities through regulated infrastructure.

Presentation by Raison's CFO

One of the highlights of the conference was the participation of Raison’s CFO, Andrey Afanasyev, as a speaker on the Future Stage. His talk, titled Exit Is Not the Finish Line: What Founders Must Unlearn, focused on the challenges founders face after liquidity events and how wealth management requires a fundamentally different operating mindset than company building.

During the session, Andrey explored how many entrepreneurs remain in “founder mode” after an exit — relying on speed, control, and intuition in environments where structure, governance, and long-term capital architecture become more important. He also addressed the growing role of AI in finance, arguing that technology can accelerate decision-making, but cannot replace accountability, judgment, or aligned incentives.

Tech Apéro Event at L59

In addition to participating as a conference partner, the Raison team co-hosted the side event Tech Apéro at L59 with ecosystem partners, including Tera Ventures, OTB Ventures, and ThreeVC. The event brought together founders, venture capital investors, operators, and technology professionals for informal networking and conversations around venture capital, AI, emerging markets, and cross-border investment opportunities.

Why Tallinn

Events like Latitude59 also highlight Estonia’s unique role as one of Europe’s most advanced digital and startup ecosystems. For Raison, being part of the conference in Tallinn was especially meaningful, as Estonia continues to serve as an important hub for technology, venture capital, and cross-border financial innovation in the region. With its strong founder community, international mindset, and mature digital infrastructure, the Estonian ecosystem creates a natural environment for conversations at the intersection of fintech, AI, venture capital, and modern wealth management.
