Wealth Club Lisbon 2025

Highlights from the Club’s Final 2025 Event in Portugal

Wealth Club Lisbon 2025

At the beginning of November, Lisbon became the new destination for the Raison Wealth Club, a private gathering for investors and entrepreneurs. The two-day program combined professional expertise, knowledge exchange, and cultural experiences, continuing the series of international events held under the Wealth Club format.

Day 1. Conference

The first day began with a morning networking session and a welcoming speech by Oxana Raim, Raison’s Business Development Director for Europe, who opened the event with an overview of the Wealth Club 2024–2025.

In her speech, Oxana highlighted that over 150 members and guests have joined the Club since its founding. Wealth Club events have already taken place in Barcelona, Dubai, London, Tallinn, Warsaw, Marbella, and Astana. The Club’s sessions have featured leading speakers, including:

  • Nick Davidov — Investor, Business Angel, and Founder of DVC Fund;
  • Max Bautin — Co-Founder and Managing Partner at IQ Capital;
  • Ilya Kondrashov — CEO of the Venture Fund QuantumLight.

The day continued with a conference that brought together leading experts to discuss the future of wealth management and new investment opportunities:

  • Andrey Afanasyev (Raison) — on modern family office models and capital succession.
  • Andrey Korotkov (Jebsen Capital) — on global macroeconomic trends and U.S. fiscal policy.
  • Alex Zhuravlev (Mento VC) — on the state of the AI market, the risks of an emerging “bubble,” and long-term investment trends.
  • Ruslan Zaydullin (Bina School) — on how technology and AI are transforming education.
  • Alex Shamis (S16VC) — on identifying promising startups and building early-stage investment ecosystems.

The program also featured a public talk with Maxim Melnikov (Former Chief Executive Officer, CIAN PLC) and Oleg Shchegolev (Co-Founder and CEO, Semrush) on how to build and scale a company from zero to IPO while maintaining growth and resilience. Oxana Raim moderated the session.

In the afternoon, participants engaged in an interactive strategy game “MBA Venture Investor,” where they acted as venture funds making capital allocation decisions across real startup cases.

The day concluded with a dinner accompanied by traditional Portuguese fado music.

Day 2. Culture and Nature of Portugal

The second day took participants beyond Lisbon, combining travel, culture, and gastronomy. The group explored some of the region’s highlights, including Cabo Espichel and the Cristo Rei statue, enjoyed local cuisine at a winery, experienced the nature of Portugal’s Atlantic coast, and wrapped up the program with a cocktail evening overlooking Lisbon.

The Wealth Club remains a platform where professional investors exchange insights on strategy and capital management in a constantly evolving environment. Interested in joining the Club? Apply, and the Raison team will contact you.
