Kraken
The exchange has once again passed the Proof-of-Reserves audit and confirmed that its users' balances are backed by tangible digital assets. An independent accounting firm was involved in the audit.
Klarna
Matt Miller, a partner at venture firm Sequoia, has joined the Klarna board of directors. Sequoia is one of Klarna's most prominent investors, and Miller's arrival is seen as another step toward the company's future IPO. Sequoia partner Michael Moritz is also on Klarna's board of directors.
Rubrik
Rubrik has gained a new major client — Carhartt, a company operating since 1889 and generating over $1 billion in revenue annually. By switching to Rubrik Security Cloud services, Carhartt achieved a 50% savings in the cybersecurity budget.
SpaceX
SpaceX has launched the first Starlink satellites into orbit with direct-to-cell technology. Last year, it became known that Starlink would launch a satellite communication service on mobile phones in partnership with cellular operators.
Sift
In 2023, the company registered several new patents, bringing the total number of patented technologies to 40. These technologies detect bots in real-time and analyze connections between fraudulent accounts, etc.
Consensys
Consensys received the ISO27001 international data security certificate, the best in its class.
Chainalysis
Omesh Agam joined the company as the Director of Information Security. He will develop, implement, and comply with cybersecurity technologies. Agam has 20 years of experience in his field.
