Andrei Berezin Comments on Raison’s $2 Million Investment in Neuralink

Investors from Kazakhstan have invested $2 million in Neuralink, a startup founded by Elon Musk. The company is developing high-tech devices that can directly connect the human brain to a computer. These interfaces have the potential to treat neurological diseases such as paralysis and epilepsy, as well as to improve cognitive function.

Neuralink has significant growth potential due to its unique product. The company has already attracted the attention of the world's largest investors and continues to demonstrate a high rate of development.

“For Kazakhstani investors, investments in Neuralink represent a strategic diversification of their investment portfolio. Investing in advanced technology startups allows not only the reduction of risks but also ensures participation in a fast-growing market sector that promises significant prospects for growth and development,” said Andrei Berezin, Managing Partner of Raison Investment Company.

In January 2024, Neuralink successfully implanted a chip in its first volunteer. The volunteer was Noland Arbo, a resident of Arizona, who was left paralyzed after an accident and did not feel anything below his shoulders. After the operation, he began to successfully play video games on the computer using the “power of thought” and also broadcasted his activities. However, some of the wires installed in Arbo's brain weakened and stopped reading signals. These problems necessitated the removal of the device from his brain. Nevertheless, the company managed to make changes and improve the condition of the implant.
