Third Patient Gets Neuralink Brain Implant

A third patient has received a Neuralink brain chip, says Elon Musk. "We've got... three humans with Neuralinks and all are working well," Musk said during a wide-ranging interview at a Las Vegas event streamed on his social media platform X.

Neuralink is developing high-tech devices that can directly connect the human brain to a computer. These interfaces have the potential to treat neurological diseases such as quadriplegia.

Two of the previous Neuralink patients have reportedly integrated the technology successfully into their everyday lives. Both individuals were paralyzed after spinal trauma; however, with the Link implant, they have regained some of their lost abilities.
