TOP 3 promising AI companies in 2024
According to Forbes

In 2024, there is no need to elaborate on why AI companies are gaining popularity so quickly. AI is rapidly taking over every aspect of our lives, from generating school essays to providing banking solutions. Here are the TOP 3 promising AI companies in 2024, according to the Forbes AI 50 list.
What is AI 50
First things first: what is AI 50? Every year Forbes creates a ranking of the most promising AI startups. Participation is charge-free. To participate, companies need to submit an application to Forbes, providing some key metrics, such as revenue history, valuation, business model, and type of AI application. Forbes then collaborates with corporate partners like Sequoia and Meritech Capital to compile the list. This year 1932 applications were sent to Forbes, which is twice as big as the numbers of applications from last year.
TOP 3 AI
OpenAI – $11.3 billion
At the top of the list, as expected, is OpenAI with a total investment of $11.3 billion. OpenAI covers a wide range of areas – from private business to education and the public sector. Among the company's clients are the marketplace eBay, Cornell University, and the Government of Iceland.
Anthropic – $7.7 billion
Another company involved in AI systems development is Anthropic. Claude 3.5 Sonnet from Anthropic is an artificial intelligence that, like Chat GPT, can do anything from writing a presentation plan to coaching and helping with studies. Among the company's clients are the American investment firm Bridgewater and the Boston Consulting Group. Anthropic actively promotes AI safety: Claude is built on a Constitution that, among other things, prohibits AI from harming humans.
Databricks – $4 billion
Databricks sells its software for data analysis and AI implementation to Shell and the U.S. Postal Service.
Other forms of AI are also gaining momentum. Examples include Anduril, which has raised $2.8 billion for defense technologies.
In conclusion, it is safe to say that investing in AI is more relevant than ever. Over time, there will be even more companies developing artificial intelligence.
