Raison Business Breakfasts in Uralsk

How Business Supports Regional Growth in Kazakhstan

Raison Business Breakfasts in Uralsk

In January, Raison hosted two business breakfasts in Uralsk, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, and local community representatives. The meetings were part of the company’s regional program and focused on two closely connected topics: the investment results of 2025 and the role of business in regional development through education.

The first business breakfast was dedicated to reviewing the investment outcomes of 2025 and discussing priorities for 2026 — a topic previously explored at the Raison meeting in Aktobe. The discussion covered debt and venture instruments, the transformation of public markets, and how private investors can shape their strategies in a changing economic environment. The breakfast format encouraged open conversation without formal boundaries, allowing for questions, comments, and the exchange of practical experience.

The second business breakfast focused on the Teach for Qazaqstan project and the broader topic of corporate social responsibility. At the center of the discussion was education as a key driver of long-term regional development, engagement with local communities, and the impact of such initiatives on business trust and corporate sustainability.

During the meeting, participants discussed how investments in human capital help build regions' talent bases and economic potential, as well as the long-term effects of educational programs. Teach for Qazaqstan was presented as an example of a systemic approach — not a one-off social initiative, but a sustainable model aimed at developing Kazakhstan’s regions.

For Raison, such meetings are part of a broader regional strategy to build local investment communities. For us, it is not just about investing, but about being genuinely involved in the environment where we work. Alongside our partnership with Teach for Qazaqstan, Raison contributes to local educational and sports initiatives, including Velolegend and the Maqsat Tennis Academy. This is our way of supporting the communities we are part of.

The business breakfasts in Uralsk became another step in strengthening Raison’s regional community and confirmed that investing in people and the local environment is an essential part of a sustainable business model.
