StoreDot's Battery Technology Provides Protection Against Winter Charging for Electric Vehicle Owners

StoreDot, a pioneer of extreme fast charging (XFC) silicon-based battery technology for electric vehicles (EVS), confirmed that its battery technology provides stable performance in winter. Recent laboratory tests showed that StoreDot's silicon power elements reach 80% capacity when charged at -10°C with the standard charging speed. StoreDot's power elements were tested and showed stable discharge rates and sufficient range even in sub-zero temperatures. At a temperature of 14°F (-10°C), the batteries provided more than 85% of their full power. Even in freezing of- 4°F (-20 °C), the batteries still offered more than 70% of their full power. Compared to traditional EV batteries currently on the market, StoreDot's XFC elements have a greater capacity for energy storage, higher charging speed, and longer lifespan, making them reliable for the future and ensuring optimal performance year-round, regardless of climate.
