Raison commits $10M to QuantumLight Fund II
Scaling investment in a strategic partner
Raison has committed $10 million to QuantumLight’s second fund. This marks a natural evolution of our partnership: Raison clients previously invested $5 million in Fund I.
Why we are increasing our investment in QuantumLight
At the core of the fund's strategy is a shift from "intuitive" venture capital to systematic data analysis. Its proprietary Aleph platform evaluates tens of thousands of companies across hundreds of parameters, identifying future leaders at Series B and C stages before they even hit the broader market's radar.
We appreciate their approach: they don't try to predict the future; they rely on calculations and real growth metrics. We can see that algorithms identify companies more accurately and faster than traditional venture capital. For our investors, this is an opportunity to join a tech portfolio built without unnecessary emotion or subjectivity
Andrei Berezin
co-founder of Raison
The results of the first fund confirmed the effectiveness of this method. Portfolio projects like 11 Labs, Together.ai, and Lovable are showing anomalous growth rates, while Fund I's overall performance consistently ranks among the top 10% of venture funds globally.
Expertise and the Revolut Resource
Beyond algorithms, the founders' experience remains a vital factor. Nik Storonsky, who built the fintech giant Revolut (valued at $75B), and Ilya Kondrashov provide startups with proven scaling blueprints. Portfolio companies receive not only capital but also access to expertise and Revolut’s 70-million-strong user base, helping them outpace competitors.
Optimized Entry Structure for Our Clients
As fundraising for the second fund reaches approximately $300M of its $400M target, first-close terms have been secured for Raison investors.
This represents a significant financial advantage: our clients entered the fund at the original price, incurring no additional costs. Investors joining QuantumLight directly in subsequent rounds will be required to pay an equalization fee (a late-entry charge). Raison clients are exempt from these charges, ensuring the most cost-effective entry point into the fund’s second vintage.
Strategic Direction
For Raison, the $10M investment in QuantumLight Fund II is a bet on a new venture-market standard in which data outweighs intuition. We continue to provide our clients with access to institutional-grade strategies while maintaining exclusive terms.
