Animoca Brands partnerships, new SpaceX launch, and StoreDot results

Animoca Brands

Animoca Brands and T&B Media Global (T&B) have announced a strategic partnership involving the integration and mutual promotion of NFT projects Mocaverse by Animoca Brands and Mittaria by T&B. This collaboration also includes exploring Web3 network solutions using LightLink technology – a high-performance network built on Ethereum, aimed at enhancing cybersecurity and scalability of their Web3 initiatives.

Also, OKX Ventures, the investment arm of the cryptocurrency exchange OKX, announced its investment in Mocaverse, a Web3 ecosystem project by Animoca Brands. The purpose of this investment is the joint development of Mocaverse projects within the newly introduced OKX zkEVM Layer-2 X1 network, aiming to create synergy between X1 and Mocaverse to support the growth of their respective communities.

SpaceX

SpaceX has scheduled the launch of the X-37B spaceplane on December 28th on a Falcon Heavy rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This launch will be the seventh for X-37B, primarily used as an orbital test bed for new space technologies.

Rubrik

Rubrik reported the expansion of its data protection capabilities in SaaS applications, now including data protection in Jira Cloud by Atlassian. The company is strengthening its backup and cyber resilience solutions, transitioning to SaaS application protection with Microsoft 365 and Alcion, and now applying its technologies to protect DevOps data in Jira.

Sift

Sift announced the launch of Workflow Simulation, a new feature that allows enterprises to model and optimize their fraud detection processes. Introduced in 2023, this innovation enables companies to enhance the efficiency of their automation by using detailed data analysis for precise adjustment and testing of changes in their systems.

StoreDot

StoreDot concluded 2023 by achieving critical goals in commercialization and mass production. The company signed significant agreements with strategic partners, including Volvo Cars, Polestar, VinFast, and Flex | N | Gate. 15 leading global OEM manufacturers tested StoreDot's elements over 6–9 months, confirming their performance and moving towards B-sample projects. The joint project of StoreDot with Polestar, announcing the world's first 10-minute electric vehicle charging demonstration, is of particular note.

Scale AI

Scale AI and Flashpoint announced a pioneering collaboration that combines Donovan, Scale AI's AI-based decision-making platform, with Flashpoint's open-source AI. This strategic alliance aims to enhance intelligence and security operations for government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense and the intelligence community, improving their threat detection and in-depth analysis ability.
